Retailers helped Dexam to raise £628 for the charity’s Red Nose Day campaign.
Back in March housewares supplier, Dexam, launched its ‘paint the kitchen red’ campaign for Red Nose Day. For every order of a red item placed in March, Dexam was committed to donating 5% of the trade price to Comic Relief.
Not only that, but the Dexam Trust matched the total funds raised, doubling the final donation. A grand total of £628 was raised and donated to Comic Relief this week.
Items included in the campaign ranged from kitchen textiles to kitchen accessories, tools and gadgets such as weighing scales, egg timers and cookie cutters. Dexam’s Chasseur French cast iron cookware in the famous Chilli Red was also included.
Bryony Dyer, Dexam’s managing director, said: “We know that when people come together, great things can happen. We are so grateful to our retailers for taking part in this campaign. The money we’ve raised will help put food on plates and roofs over heads, keep little ones safe and help support families affected by conflict and climate change.”
