2024 gia Top Window Awards open for entries

All UK home and housewares retailers are welcome to enter the gia Top Window Award 2024 competition.

The IHA Global Innovation Awards (gia) programme is the world’s leading awards programme honouring overall excellence, business innovation and creative merchandising in homegoods retailing. The exclusive UK gia sponsor is Progressive Housewares and HousewaresNews.net.

Completely separate to the gia retail awards, the Top Window Awards recognise excellence in visual merchandising across two categories – one for large retailers and one for small stores.

From the UK entries, three finalists from the two categories will be nominated to go on to compete for the global awards, which are judged by the gia Expert Jurors.

Katie Roberts-Mason, editor of Progressive Housewares commented: “The UK housewares market is awash with wonderful retailers with outstanding creative talent and this is your chance to get your windows seen on a global stage. We will be selecting three UK finalists to go up against housewares retailers across the world, with the chance to win a trip to The Inspired Home Show in 2025 to attend the gia awards. We can’t wait to see your entries.”

Entrants will have the chance to receive both local and global recognition and positive PR and win a trip to The Inspired Home Show 2025, taking place in Chicago from 2 to 4 March, 2025.

Entries will be judged on:

  • Originality and creativity (theme, concept, special effects)
  • Merchandise presentation
  • Professionalism: Execution and technical aspects (lighting, attention to detail, signage, copy)

To be considered for the 2024 gia Top Window Award, please contact Katie Roberts-Mason on katierm@max-publishing.co.uk to receive an entry form. Entries close on 15 August, 2024.
