2025 gia Top Window Awards open for entries

All UK home and housewares retailers are welcome to enter the gia Top Window Award 2025 competition.

The IHA Global Innovation Awards (gia) programme is the world’s leading awards programme honouring overall excellence, business innovation and creative merchandising in homegoods retailing. The exclusive UK gia sponsor is Progressive Housewares and HousewaresNews.net.

Completely separate to the gia retail awards, the Top Window Awards recognise excellence in visual merchandising across two categories – one for large retailers and one for small stores.

From the UK entries, three finalists from the two categories will be nominated to go on to compete for the global awards, which are judged by the gia Expert Jurors.

Katie Roberts-Mason, editor of Progressive Housewares commented: “We have some huge talent in the UK housewares retail industry, with some incredible visual merchandising showing housewares products off at their very best. So we encourage retailers to get involved, to enter the awards, be proud of their windows and take the opportunity to show them off on this international stage.”

Entrants will have the chance to receive both local and global recognition and positive PR and win a trip to The Inspired Home Show 2026, taking place in Chicago from 10 to 12 March, 2026.

  • Entries will be judged on:
  • Originality and creativity (theme, concept, special effects)
  • Merchandise presentation
  • Professionalism: Execution and technical aspects (lighting, attention to detail, signage, copy)

To be considered for the 2025 gia Top Window Award, please contact Katie Roberts-Mason on katierm@max-publishing.co.uk to receive an entry form. Entries close on 1 September, 2025.
