Breakfast celebration for Harts

Harts of Stur has begun its year of centenary celebrations in its Sturminster Newton store with a breakfast themed event. Both the sun and crowds came out in force on Saturday (March 30) to join the fun.

Over 500 free bacon butties were handed out, and customers also enjoyed a cup of coffee from the Jura and Lavazza coffee machines that were being demonstrated while they shopped. There was also the chance for customers to try out the range of KitchenAid food processors, which were on display.

Harts provided plenty of breakfast inspiration both in-store and online, including ideas for cooking eggs using the most appropriate products. Breakfast themed blogs will include ideas for homemade smoothies and juices.

Founded by Walter Hart, Harts has benefitted from four generations of the Harts family in the business, each bringing different skills and passions to developing the retail business in store and online.

“Family is extremely important to us and this is why we will be celebrating this milestone with a selection of family-themed events and initiatives throughout the year,” said Philip Hart, managing director when announcing Harts’ centenary earlier this year.
