The Exclusively Shows (June 11-12, London’s Business Design Centre) are delighted to announce that 100 products have been selected from 37 exhibitors to reflect the trends ‘Satori, Traveller and Fellowship’ as curated by Scarlet Opus.
To identify the top 100, the shows trend interpreters Scarlet Opus have scoured exhibitors’ product portfolios.
Phil Pond from Scarlet Opus describes this year’s Trends display as “awesome,” and explains: “It was hard selecting products for the showcase simply because there was so much great product to select from”.
He reflects: “The Trend feature has been a part of the Exclusively Shows for four years now and this year, it seemed as if everything had come together. The exhibitors have all clearly worked hard and innovatively during the past year to create a stunning array of products.”
The shows are also delighted to announce that a further trend will be introduced ‘Game Changer’. While exploring exhibitors’ products, Scarlet Opus identified various housewares that reflected the essence of the Game Changer trend, which will feature 10 exhibitors.
Phil explains: “The exhibitors have even given us wonderful choices for our Game Changer trend which is strictly for genuine eco-friendly and sustainably made products”.
To elaborate, The Traveller Trend is focused on restoring balance, order and correctness. During this new season, a return to ‘Fine Dining’ will begin to emerge. The eight exhibitors that reflect the trend include: Western House, The DRH Collection, T&G Woodware, My Gifts Trade, Candelight, LSA International, Ladelle and KitchenCraft.
The Satori Trend is underpinned by serenity, balance and preservation as consumers reflect on the ‘Art of Living’. Scarlet Opus has selected products from a wide range of exhibitors including Eurosonic, Mepal, Aydya, Le Creuset, My Gifts Trade, Ladelle, Royal Doulton, Hachette, Denby, LSA International, and KitchenCraft.
The Fellowship Trend focuses on the Power of the Collective as people rise together as a community of collaborators in a future where we are all makers, farmers, craftsman. It’s the opposite of the establishment. The exhibitors with products that represent this trend include Ladelle, Benross Marketing, UK Thermos, Typhoon, Le Creuset, Sabichi, Scoville, T&G, My Gifts Trade, Auteur, Eddingtons , David Mason Design, Brabantia, CIE Europe, KitchenCraft and Forma House.
Will Jones BHETA’s chief operating officer and chairman, Exclusively Shows comments: “The on-trend initiative grows in popularity each year. It is an ideal opportunity for suppliers to raise the profile of their products plus it also affords visitors to the show an excellent opportunity to view new, innovative and on-trend products that will help stimulate their consumer offer.”
