BHETA welcomes new president

Another prominent figure in the housewares industry has taken on the mantle of president for The British Home Enhancement Trade Association (BHETA). At the recent AGM, Alastair Fisher, joint managing director of Taylor’s Eye Witness was appointed as the association’s new president (a non-executive position). Alastair succeeds Roger Morgan-Grenville, director at Dexam.

“I was very flattered to be nominated and then elected as president of BHETA,” Alastair told HousewaresNews.net. “BHETA plays an important role in our industry and I am looking forward to playing a part in its progress.”

Several other housewares industry figures were confirmed as BHETA board members: David Holmes, managing director of The DRH Collection as treasurer, and Richard Walker, Eddington’s commercial director and Black + Blum’s md, Nick Cornwell. The board also includes BHETA’s chairman, Andrew Weiss, chief operating officer, Will Jones and finance director, Clare Holland.
