Nextrade expands to UK

Following the success of its initial focus in ten European markets, Nextrade – the business to business marketplace for the home and living industry (from nmedia) – is now expanding its international marketing in the UK and four other countries.

Philipp Ferger, joint managing director of nmedia and group show director of Tendence and Nordstil acknowledges that: “the portal is rapidly gaining in importance internationally.”

Nextrade features more than 200 suppliers from 30 countries with over 300,000 products across home and living sectors, with new additions every day. Some 2,100 buyers from 78 countries are registered to use the marketplace. It is intended to be a supplement to the industry face-to-face trade fairs (such as Ambiente and Tendence), maintaining business relationships in between events.

Nicolaus Gedat, joint managing director of nmedia states: “We see great potential in the markets of the Czech Republic, Greece, Italy, Lithuania and the United Kingdom.”
