Entries and nominations are starting to flood in for the coveted Excellence in Housewares’ Excellence in Retail Display Awards 2021 – a celebration of the creativity of all types of shops.
“Since the reopening of ‘non-essential’ retailers in April, cookshops’ windows and in-store display in housewares stockists have been inspiring, informing and dazzling consumers,” reflects Jo Howard, editor of Progressive Housewares (organiser and owner of the Excellence in Housewares Awards). “Over the lockdowns of the past year shop windows were the stage for many uplifting messages, as well as keeping consumers aware of fantastic housewares products. The Excellence in Retail Display Awards are a wonderful way to recognise the ingenuity, inventiveness and originality of independents, multiples and department stores. Please send us your nominations and photos so we can recognise these achievements.”
To enter, retailers need to create their EIH account (taking under two minutes) and then upload between three and six images of their best displays (by the deadline of July 9- entries can be added to up to this date). Images can be of a particular window or in-store display, or a series of pictures from the past year (June 2020 to June 2021). Photos should be taken on a ‘large’ photo setting on a camera or phone and should be between 1-5MB each in size. Go to www.excellenceinhousewaresawards.co.uk
