Swan celebrates 90th

Swan celebrated its 90th anniversary with influencers, a film crew, and a spectacular party at Manchester’s Victoria Warehouse on Black Friday (November 26).

“We knew with all the noise that’s generated around Black Friday that we would need to think outside of the box to make any kind of impact. And thanks to our wonderful influencers and team, we more than achieved it,” states David Foulstone, marketing director of Swan.

The celebrations started when the Swan team and a group of iconic influencers arrived at Victoria Warehouse, where a film crew were ready for them. “Because Swan has turned ninety years young this year, we have taken on a 90s theme! So, say hello to Monica’s apartment from the unforgettable 90s series: F.R.I.E.N.D.S. The set was used to film live content all day- including fashion shows, wheel of fortune, trivia games and much more,” reports David. Footage can be seen at @swanbranduk.

After filming, the group headed upstairs to the venue’s impressive function room with its 9m long bar, DJ, and decorations that included nine million balloons and ‘Swan’ in big lights.

“A colossal amount of hard work had been put into the event and the entire duration of Black Friday. Swan’s marketing team had been travelling all over the UK for location giveaways to spread awareness of the sale, as well as organising the event, and still managed to look fabulous ready for the evening party!” comments David.

“Swan wants to hand out a massive thank you to all of the people involved in planning this celebration and making the day/night what it was. We appreciate our amazing guests and the hard work everyone has put in throughout the Black Friday season.”
