The latest housewares company to join BHETA (British Home Enhancement Assocation) is Queen’s Award for Enterprise winner Aydya, while the latest electrical company to join is Lloytro.
Based in Dundee, Aydya is an ethical company which owns and operates innovative brands that offer simple, high quality, value for money products. Its two primary brands are Ion8 and Anysharp. Ion8’s leakproof water bottles have lockable hygienic spout safety covers and open with ‘one touch’ for spill-free hydration on the go. Anysharp has been hailed by users as ‘The World’s Best Knife Sharpener,’ with safety a priority as fingers are kept safely away from any blades. The diamond-honed tungsten carbide sharpening tools also sharpen serrated blades.
Meanwhile, new member, Lloytron supplies household electrical products to the retail, wholesale, internet and mail order markets. These include kitchen SDAs such as air fryers, cooking pots, kettles and toasters. Working alongside its China and Hong Kong offices, the company sources from a global network of suppliers, focusing on imaginative products with outstanding value. In the UK Lloytron is based in the northwest of England and London.
Welcoming the new members, Seema Grantham, BHETA’s sector manager for housewares acknowledged: “Lloytron has a wide range of product in the small domestic electricals market and a wealth of knowledge,” while Aydya’s “Ion8 and Anysharp are both innovative brands and they are a great combination for a variety of retailers.”
