Frankie & Johnny’s Friday Quiz boosts sales

The Friday Quiz devised by Frankie & Johnny’s Cookshop in York is providing a talking point for customers online and in-store increasing product sales and. The Quiz has now reached the finals of the Excellence in Housewares 2022 in the Excellence in Retailer Initiative category.

Introduced earlier this year by the community-focused cookshop, the weekly competition has become “very popular,” says Jo Asquith, who co-owns Frankie & Johnny’s with her husband Tim. She explains: “Every Friday, Tim posts a photo of an item in the shop and then followers on social media try and guess what it is. It has gained a lot of traction over the last few months.  We get lots of guesses, and lots of people coming in the shop discussing the quiz and also buying the products highlighted. So, it works in getting our name out there, showcases different products, engages with customers, draws in new followers and is lots of fun.”

The finalists of Excellence in Housewares Awards 2022 will be featured in the next issue of Progressive Housewares magazine and the winners will be announced on October 5 at a glittering awards night at The Royal Lancaster London.

* Tickets and tables for the EIH Awards night on October 5 can be reserved quickly and securely online by visiting Max-Tickets.netor by contacting Clare Hollick at Create Events: clare@createvents.co.uk or +44 (0)1183 340085.
