Dexam thanks customers for Independents’ Weekend 2023

Independents’ Day UK took place across a full weekend this year on 1 and 2 July, and Dexam has been championing its independent customers.

Dexam, which has won the Excellence in Customer Service award a number of times, sent a special gift of local produce for every order placed across the weekend. Each gift was hand wrapped by the warehouse team and came with a hand-written thank you note.

Independents account for around 65% of the 290,000 retail outlets in the UK and are at the heart of local communities throughout the country.

Abbie Bleasby-Voice, marketing manager at Dexam, said: “One of our main brand principles at Dexam is customer service. We are a friendly company that is all about people. We aim to give the best service in the industry and get the best out of everything and everyone.

“We wanted to take the time to recognise and thank our independent retailers this July and we hope they’ll enjoy our little token of appreciation.”
