Source Home & Gift, which takes place from 3 – 6 September at NEC Birmingham, has announced a content programme which will deliver advice on global sourcing.
On Sunday 3 September, futurist and trend forecaster, Jack Stratten, head of trends at Insider Trends, kicks off the programme exploring global best practice in sustainable sourcing and technology.
On Monday, The International Trade Centre (ITC) will run a session on the Developing Countries Trading Scheme (DCTS), which is removing important export duties from 65 countries. They will also give a run down on preferential trading schemes to highlight financial incentives and support available for companies who want to trade with new regions.
Cassandra Stavrou MBE, also takes to the stage on Tuesday to talk about sustainability and responsible manufacturing, and also about how weaving story telling into marketing can build communities and connect with consumers.
The Responsible Sourcing Stage will also host product trend sessions and practical sessions on building relationships in new regions. The full programme will be announced soon.
Hosting over 300 global manufacturers and suppliers from 14 different countries, all exhibitors are audited before the show to ensure they are operating in a responsible way. Source Home & Gift is co-located with Autumn Fair, bringing the entire retail supply chain under one roof.
