Dexam unveils new pop art inspired Kellogg’s range

Inspired by the iconic Frosties cereal box, Andy Warhol, and the vibrancy of the 60s pop art movement, Dexam has launched a new design for AW 2023.

The Frosties Pop Art range consists of an adult apron and matching children’s apron, set of two tea towels, double oven gloves, gauntlet, pot grab and peg bag.

They will be joined by a multi-purpose worktop saver and hot pot stand later in the year. Both are made from toughened glass and are great for preparing food, rolling out pastry and protecting, rolling out pastry and protecting kitchen surfaces up to 120°C.

Helen Boardman, product manager of Dexam, commented: “One of the things that made the Pop Art movement so unique was its focus on real everyday household items. Kellogg’s is a well-known and loved breakfast cereal brand so it felt like the next logical step to explore this in our designs.

“Our first line of textiles with Kellogg’s played on nostalgia and celebrated the vintage ads and cereal boxes. This time I wanted to bring a youthful and playful design to the licensed range. Pop Art is characterised by the use of bold primary colours and we’ve used these tones to repeat the classic Frosties cereal box with Tony the Tiger.”

Nancy Jones of Pink Key Licensing, said: “The new Kellogg’s Frosties Pop Art range is of the high quality you would expect from Dexam, beautifully presented with a strong, vibrant design that instantly brings the Vintage Kellogg’s artwork to life in a fresh and exciting way. Tony the Tiger has never looked so good!”
