Dexam launches Chinese New Year promotion

Chinese New Year falls on 10 February, 2024, and to celebrate, Dexam has launched a promotion and competition for retailers.

Dexam is offering retailers 10% off all woks and School of Wok products until 10 February, 2024. Those who place orders will be entered into a prize draw to win two tickets to an Asian cookery lesson with the School of Wok, either online, or in its Covent Garden cookery school.

For every £100 net order value of Dexam woks/School of Wok products, retailers will receive one entry into the draw – the more you spend, the more entries you will receive. In addition, Dexam is running a window display competition for Chinese New Year and is encouraging retailers to send in photos to receive an additional entry into their prize draw. Supporting POS is also available to customers who order during this period.

The School of Wok by Dexam collection was designed in collaboration with celebrity chef, Jeremy Pang and business partner, Nev Leaning. The collection features a range of woks, accessories and kitchen textiles to enable enthusiasts to practise the art of Asian cookery at home with excellence from the very start.

Bryony Dyer, Dexam’s managing director, commented: “2024 is the Year of the Wood Dragon. The dragon symbolises luck and success in traditional Chinese culture and we’d like to pass these sentiments onto our retailers in January with our promotion and competition.

“As a wok specialist, we have the widest range of woks available to suit all types of cook, from low-maintenance pre-seasoned and non-stick woks, to storing and retaining heat in our cast iron wok and heavy duty carbon steel woks to deal with the power of induction. We hope the promotion and competition will allow existing and new customers to invest in Asian cookware and celebrate Chinese New Year with their customers.”
