IndyBest names Salter as best overall air fryer

Renowned product testing platform, IndyBest, has tried and tested air fryers to find the best across a range of categories.

IndyBest considered size, shape, noise level, speed of cooking, ease of use, and how the food tasted when putting air fryers from a range of brands through their paces.

Testers worked their way through a range of recipes, including a roast dinner, to see which models lived up to expectations.

The results of the testing were as follows:

Best air fryer overall – Salter EK4548 dual air fryer

Best budget air fryer – Tower T17021 family size air fryer

Best dual air fryer – Ninja Foodi AF400UK 9.5l dual zone air fryer

Best air fryer for cooking meat – Tower xpress pro combo 10-in-1 air fryer

Best for families – Lakeland dual basket air fryer

Best smart air fryer – Philips essential air fryer 5000 series XL connected
