Villeroy & Boch wins IF Design Award

132 renowned design experts from over 20 countries have decided: Villeroy & Boch’s NewMoon beige tableware collection will receive the iF Design Award 2024.

The series is being elevated to the ranks of winners of one of the world’s most prestigious design competitions – with 10,800 entries from 72 countries emphasising the award’s international reputation.

“We are very proud that our NewMoon collection has stood out from the field of high-quality products with the NewMoon beige extension. This award once again confirms the ceramic expertise and excellent design quality of the premium brand Villeroy & Boch,” commented Claudia Knaupp, senior director marketing dining & lifestyle at Villeroy & Boch.

NewMoon captures the spirit of contemporary interior design. The collection features a shape inspired by a crescent moon and is available in glossy white and a fine beige shade with a smooth surface that adds an extra warm facet to the shiny white crockery.

NewMoon and NewMoon beige, both made from high-quality premium porcelain, coordinate perfectly with each other with harmonising shades and a striking interplay of glossy white and matt beige. NewMoon beige creates eye-catching looks in a strong contrast with the deep black slate-inspired Manufacture Rock series.

The iF Design Award has been presented since 1954. Over the years, it has become a globally recognised label for exceptional creative flair and outstanding design. To be selected for the iF Design Award, entries from different disciplines need to convince an international jury of renowned design experts in a two-stage selection process based on strict criteria. The winning entries are presented on www.ifdesign.com.
