The event brings together some of the most influential names in food, drink, hospitality, literature and science.
Now in its sixth year, a full programme of events has been designed to inspire, entertain and educate throughout May, culminating in a two-day celebration of food through workds, sounds, cultures, ideas and tastings on 25-26 May.
Inspired by cookbooks, recipes and culinary manuscripts in the British Library’s collection, highlights of the season include:
- A live recording of Jessie and Lennie Ware’s celebrated podcast Table Manners, with musician, actor, writer and mental health campaigner, Jordan Stephens.
- Social media farming sensation and bestselling author, Julius Roberts, on the joys and challenges of being a farmer in the digital age.
- Award-winning Azumah Nelson in conversation with food writer Melissa Thompson about the significance of food in his work, including the multi-award bestseller, Open Water.
