Thursday 20 June marks World Tapas Day and Dexam is retailing its Sintra tapas dishes at a special price to celebrate.
Dexam’s Sintra tapas dishes are available in a small and medium size and are made from terracotta. They are hand glazed in five colours: Ochre, Ink Blue, Green, Duck Egg and Stone and are ideal for serving tapas in the traditional style.
The smaller dishes are ideal for serving appetisers including mixed olives, nuts and chorizo. The larger tapas dishes are more suited to patatas bravas, garlic shrimp and other generously proportioned tapas.
Coordinating items are available in Dexam’s Sintra collection and include terracotta wine coolers, jugs, oil drizzlers, recycled glass carafes, tumblers and drizzlers, mango wood salad bowls, servers and chip and dip bowls plus recycled cotton placemats and napkins.
Helen Boardman, product manager at Dexam, commented: “Tapas is a beloved culinary tradition in Spain, consisting of small, flavourful dishes typically enjoyed with drinks and shared among friends and family.
“World Tapas Day celebrates the diversity and creativity of these bite-sized delicacies, highlighting their role in bringing people together and creating memorable dining experiences. The variety of sizes and colours of our tapas dishes and the wider Sintra collection allow consumers to enjoy these small plates in the company of others at home.”
