Dexam expands School of Wok collection

In partnership with London Covent Garden’s School of Wok, Dexam has launched a new range of textiles.

The new range features an adult apron and single tea towel partly made from recycled cotton offcuts, which would have otherwise ended up in landfill.

The bright and fun textiles have also been joined by a larger sized pre-seasoned wok. The new 16” pre-seasoned wok allows for 6-8 meal servings – perfect for a family or for those batch cooking. The wok is suitable for modern hobs, including induction. There is no need to season at home and the pre-seasoning gives the benefits of non-stick without having a non-stick layer that can scratch and wear out.

A comfortable bamboo handle doesn’t transfer heat and the carbon steel construction helps to unlock delicious flavours that Asian stir-fry is famous for. The steel heats up quickly and allows for very high heat – giving your dishes a caramelised flavour. Also suitable for making curries, stews and deep frying.

The School of Wok by Dexam collection was designed in collaboration with celebrity Chef, Jeremy Pang, and business partner, Nev Leaning. The collection features the most extensive range of woks on the market, Asian cooking accessories and kitchen textiles to enable enthusiasts to practise the art of Asian cookery at home with excellence from the very start.

Bryony Dyer, Dexam’s managing director, commented: “Our School of Wok by Dexam collection has always been fun and our new textiles embody the playful side of the brand. They are guaranteed to put a smile on people’s faces and brighten up the kitchen.

“In addition, we’ve seen growing demand for our award-winning pre-seasoned woks and are delighted to bring this larger size to market. Watch this space for more exciting news on further product launches to come.”
