July 2024: Licensed Housewares

Brand and character licensing is a key business area for many housewares suppliers, with everything from children’s characters to heritage brands, pop culture names to brands from other home sectors, and everything in between appearing on products for the home and kitchen. 

Licensed products can open up portfolios to a new audience and garner extra publicity, while also providing familiar, trusted and popular brands to consumers purchasing housewares products. Surveys and data show that retailers stocking branded items see higher footfall despite ongoing retail challenges, culminating in a currently high demand for new ranges.
