Primark, Tony’s Chocolonely and the LEGO Group are among the first names confirmed to be leading conversation on the sustainable transformation of the global brand, licensing, and retail industries at this year’s Products of Change Conference.
Known over the years as the Sustainability in Licensing Conference, Products of Change has officially unveiled a new brand identity for its agenda-setting and era-defining annual sustainability event, showcasing the depth and breadth of the industries and business sectors the sustainability education platform reaches.
For 2024, the Products of Change Conference – Sustainability in Brands, Licensing, Products and Retail will be setting that very tone with a line-up of speakers and representatives of some of the biggest, furthest reaching, and most impactful brands, retailers and product manufacturers on the planet.
The Products of Change Conference will be held at the Royal Geographical Society in London on Wednesday, 6 November 2024. Both in-person and digital-only tickets are available to purchase now.
Leading the charge this year will be Tony’s Chocolonely, a social impact organisation that ‘happens to make chocolate’, invited this year to deliver an Opening Keynote to talk about its efforts to end child labour and modern slavery in the global cocoa supply chain through pioneering supply chain transparency and social impact values established to pay cocoa farmers a premium.
Attendees of this year’s Products of Change Conference will be treated not only to an in-depth look into the chocolate brand’s ‘sweet endeavour to take the bitter taste out of cocoa’, but find themselves, once again, presented with a day’s agenda choc-a-block with inspiring, educational and informative content, from panels sessions featuring some the biggest brands on the planet and presentations focusing on industry-shaping data and sustainability metrics; to discussions with the high street’s leading names in fashion retail and more.
Tickets for the Products of Change Conference are available to purchase now. Options are available for those wishing to attend all-day and in-person (which includes priceless networking opportunities with the day’s speakers and delegates) or for our global audiences wishing to watch the event from the comfort of their own home offices as it is live-streamed across the world.
Building on its reputation as “the most important industry event for decades”, the Products of Change Conference will dive into critical subject areas including the latest wave of global legislation and regulation set to transform the business landscape as we know it; an exploration of the EU’s new Deforestation Regulation and its direct impact on the international publishing industry (a discussion featuring FSC Blockchain, DK Books and Carousel Calendars); a look behind the scenes at the lengths the Children’s Print Media Landscape is going towards decarbonisation; a thorough exploration of the high street fashion retailer Primark’s strive towards affordable sustainability including its pioneering partnership with The Walt Disney Company and the fresh ground it is breaking through Primark Cares; and the latest – crucial – update on what the Products of Change community has been doing to create an officially-recognised industry standard framework for measuring, tracking, and – ultimately – reducing our sector’s scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions.
The Products of Change Conference – Sustainability in Brands, Licensing, Products, and Retail will feature all this and more as the Products of Change Members Awards makes its return – following a successful 2023 debut – to champion the Products of Change Members driving real-world, positive environmental and social impact in alignment with the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
