Retailers say being an EIHA finalist is ‘just magical’

Housewares retailers who have been named as Excellence in Housewares Awards 2024 finalists, have been reflecting on their nominations.

Lizzie Bachelar, buyer, John Lewis, commented: “Delighted to be nominated for various awards. We are all looking forward to spending what is always a fantastic night, with the other finalists.”

Sophie Bensley, director, Cooks Galley, said: “It means so much to have been nominated, let alone make it as a finalist; as a small family run business, it is so wonderful to be recognised. We are a small team here so the thought of having a national award is just magical.”

David and Ione Crossley, owners of Salamander Cookshop, added: “We all really appreciate and are humbled by the three validations. It is testament to the hard work of all the team and is certainly something that numerous customers comment on and trade pride in too.”
