Pink Key Licensing: Why I sponsor the Excellence in Housewares Awards

Richard Pink, md of Pink Key Licensing explains why his company supports the Excellence in Housewares Awards.

Why do you sponsor the Excellence in Housewares Awards?

Richard: “Being an agency that specialises in food products there are multiple overlaps with our brands, be it ceramics, picnic ware or textiles. In the past we’ve had enormous success with houseware ranges and we want to make sure that key people in this industry are aware of the availability of our brands for developing products as there is considerable added value available either through potential brands ranges or collaborations – we are open to all these discussions.”

Why did Pink Key choose The Licensing Award as the category it would sponsor?

Richard: “It’s the one closest to our heart and it’s what we do. We have been licensing brands for nearly 20 years and we are proud to represent our industry in a special event for a related industry.”

What’s your favourite thing about the awards?

Richard: “Everything!!! It’s a great celebration of phenomenal work – it’s wonderful seeing new designs alongside more traditional products being celebrated all at the same time. I like the build up, the recognition and it’s a great event to be at.”

Why do you think housewares companies and retailers should attend the awards?

Richard: “Aside from being a great night out, it’s a really good place to make new introductions, but also to get a look at trends and a showcase of the best work of the year in an informal environment.”

Tickets and tables for the big night can be booked online, or you can do this via a human being by contacting our ticket office, Createvents, on 0118 334 0085 or clare@createvents.co.uk
