UK sourcing show, Source Home & Gift, will be returning to the NEC Birmingham from the 2 – 5 February 2025.

Source Home & Gift’s February 2025 show, which runs alongside Spring Fair, looks set to deliver newness, powerhouse manufacturers, craftspeople and social enterprises from around the world.

1-2-1 meeting platform, Source Clinic, will launch at the February show offering visitors the chance to speak directly with industry experts on topics such as ‘brand and product development’, ‘sourcing/buying in new regions’ and ‘using social media to connect with your consumers’.

Andrew Goodacre, ceo of the British Independent Retailers Association (BIRA) commented: “To any independent retailers keen about finding something different, a trip to Source Home & Gift is absolutely crucial. We have 4,500 independent retailers throughout the UK as members and they range from a small pet shop to an independent department store.

“What I’m always impressed by, are the variety of the creativity we see, the wonderful craftsmanship that we see. Small businesses, small retailers, really do make a difference.”

The Source team has created a network around the world sourcing new markets and producers. The February 2025 show welcomes new markets including Egypt, as well as a large contingent from India and pavilions from China, Taiwan, Peru, Nepal, Pakistan, Hong Kong and the UK.

The Indian Pavilion, in partnership with the Handloom Export Promotion Council, will showcase India’s textile industry. As the country’s second largest industry in terms of employment potential, the handloom sector plays a very important role in the country’s economy.

From Taiwan, discover a new range of bamboo ceramics and packaging. Durable like plastic, beautiful like ceramics, Bamboo Ceramics is a series of tableware made of patented eco-friendly material Bamboo-O, which is 100% home-compostable and can be customised with different colours, artwork and logos. Aromacup is a 100% home-compostable, reusable coffee cup.

Connecting manufacturers with retailers and brands, Source Home & Gift unites global manufacturers who pride themselves on responsible manufacturing and sustainable production, with key retailers, brands and contractors who care about great products.

Source Home & Gift brings the world to the UK as an easier, cheaper and more effective destination to discover what’s trending and develop and source new materials and products. Key buyers and sourcing directors from across the globe will be in attendance – all actively looking to establish new relationships and purchase from new suppliers in a sustainable way.

All exhibitors at Source Home & Gift are required to have a recent audit from Sedex or a recognisable audit institution giving buyers the confidence that they will meet suppliers that have responsible business practices, and the team work with governments and agencies from across the world to bring best in class manufacturers and artisan producers to the UK to share their capabilities.
