SCANPAN takes over Harrods demo kitchen

Over recent weeks, the SCANPAN Kitchen Takeover at Harrods brought an innovative culinary experience to the heart of London.

Running from 3 March to 15 March, visitors to the prestigious Harrods Demonstration Kitchen were treated to an exclusive hands-on showcase of SCANPAN’s premium cookware range, highlighting its craftsmanship, versatility and innovative design

Throughout the event, shoppers had the unique opportunity to witness three spectacular live cooking demonstrations from some exciting names in the food industry.

On 12 March, Pooch, a food stylist, home economist and writer, took to the kitchen. With a background in television production for renowned shows such as The Great British Bake Off and River Cottage, Pooch has worked alongside top chefs and food brands, bringing her expertise in food styling and recipe development to the forefront. She demonstrated how great cookware enhances both presentation and function, captivating audiences with her knowledge and skills.

On 13 March, Jon of Gastronomy by Jon showcased his culinary creativity. A private chef from South Wales, Jon is entirely self-taught and has gained a loyal following through his innovative approach to food.

Since 2020, he has single-handedly served tens of thousands of dishes, earning a reputation for his ability to blend bold flavours with classic techniques. His demonstrations at Harrods highlighted how SCANPAN’s cookware supports precision cooking and allows chefs to elevate their craft.

On 15 March, Healthy Flo Flo, a recipe developer and food content creator with over 500,000 social media followers, demonstrated her wholesome and approachable cooking style. Influenced by her Italian heritage and love for Mediterranean flavours, Flo specialises in creating nourishing meals that are both easy and delicious. Her mission is to make healthy eating effortless and during her time in the Harrods kitchen, she demonstrated how SCANPAN’s cookware makes nutritious cooking accessible to all

All three chefs worked alongside Marc from HAUS, who was able to provide invaluable insights into the brand’s cookware technology. With a constant stream of visitors passing through, attendees were able to interact with the chefs, try delicious food and experience first-hand how SCANPAN cookware enhances the cooking process. From fat-free frying with non-stick technology, to exploring the raw steel options with natural non-stick properties.

With an overwhelming turnout and glowing feedback from attendees, the SCANPAN Kitchen Takeover at Harrods has cemented the brand’s reputation as a leader in high-performance cookware.

Marc Kinsey, sales manager at HAUS said: “For those who joined us at Harrods, we hope everyone left with new inspiration, valuable techniques, and an appreciation for the quality and versatility of SCANPAN cookware. And for those who missed it- stay tuned, as more exciting culinary experiences are always on the horizon.”
