Air Fryers top OnBuy Mother’s Day gift list

Sales data has shown that air fryers were the most popular Mother’s Day gift this year, with one retailer reporting a surge in sales the week leading up to the event.

Online retailer OnBuy saw a 116% increase in sales of air fryers in the lead up to Mother’s Day on Sunday 19 March.

Emma Seal, marketing manager at OnBuy, said: “Sales of air fryers jumped up massively – by a staggering 116% – in the week before Mother’s Day this year.

“This unexpected surge has ranked air fryers as the most popular Mother’s Day present this year, beating other traditional gifting categories including health and beauty.

“We’re really glad to see customers making the most of the great range of products onsite and to see the benefit of this extremely versatile and useful device being shared far and wide.”
