Ambiente: Why I sponsor the Excellence in Housewares Awards

Thomas Kastl, director Ambiente Dining, Messe Frankfurt Exhibition, tells housewaresnews.net why the show sponsors the awards.

Why do you sponsor the Excellence in Housewares Awards?

Thomas: “With the Excellence in Housewares Awards, Ambiente shares a crucial aim: We both advocate excellence in housewares and cast the spotlight on retailers and suppliers for their outstanding accomplishments.

“Moreover, we both give visibility and enhance business opportunities. Hence, the Excellence in Housewares Awards are the perfect platform and match for Ambiente, and we are happy to join forces in the quest for the best.”

Why did Ambiente choose Top of the Table as the category it would sponsor?

Thomas: “Top of the Table is a highly important category for Ambiente. Every year, in Hall 12.0 and 12.1, we proudly present the latest in tableware. For the guest experience, there is nothing more important than a thoughtfully laid table. This is nothing less than your chance to leave a warm lasting impression.

“At Ambiente retailers get priceless inspiration for attractive product ranges, at the Excellence in Housewares Awards, they are awarded for this excellence.”

What’s your favourite thing about the awards?

Thomas: “What I personally appreciate about the awards is the fact that they drive change, inspire growth and unite people. These are aims and values that we share at Ambiente. The awards are an amazing opportunity for networking – and this is key, now more than ever. It is great that suppliers and retailers have the chance to get together and exchange ideas.

“For the next show in 2025, we also have a clear focus on networking. Let me take this occasion and all cordially invite you to come and join Ambiente fair from February 7 to 11.”

Why do you think housewares companies and retailers should attend the awards?

Thomas: “As the director of Ambiente Dining, I do recommend to apply and join the awards as they are an excellent opportunity for networking within the UK market. You can expect to have inspiring encounters with people who are passionate about the housewares industry. In addition, you can be sure to learn about innovative products – and the people behind them, ‘housewares heroes’ who make the tabletop shine, literally.”
