Aqua Optima expands Aurora collection

Water filtration brand, Aqua Optima, has expanded its range of instant water appliances with the introduction of Aurora Coffee.

Offering barista style coffee at home, the Aurora Coffee is a 3-in-1 filtered water and hot drinks solution that combines the functionality of a kettle, coffee machine and water filter jug in one space saving appliance to deliver Gold Cup Specialty Coffee Association-certified coffee.

Aurora Coffee puts the user firmly in control, allowing them to filter, boil and dispense as much water as desired for hot drinks with minimum waste. Aurora can deliver varying amounts from one cup of boiling water, to a 1.25litre carafe of freshly brewed coffee.

Powered by Strix Technology, the Aurora Coffee allows the user to enjoy fresh, hot drinks in under a minute, made to their exact preference. The machine has seven temperature options from ambient to boiling, and seven on-demand volumes of hot water from 200ml to 1,000ml.

The dishwasher safe glass carafe, with integrated filter basket, is kept at perfect drinking temperature for up to 30 minutes after brewing on the integrated warming plate.

The built-in Evolve+ filter provides water that meets the Specialty Coffee Association’s standards for hardness, odour, colour, alkalinity, and acidity. The water dispensed is colour and odour free and PH balanced.

Annaliese Curtis, head of marketing activation and new business integration, said: “This was a natural extension to the Aurora range and one we believe will be very successful. At a time when people want to preserve the space in their kitchen, Aurora coffee offers three functions in one footprint. Plus, it encourages enables the user to boil only what is needed, reducing waste and energy use.”
