Asos’ first homewares collection

Online retailer, Asos is taking fashion into the home as it diversifies from clothing with the launch of its first homewares range. The collection includes striking animal print plates, recycled glass tumblers in ‘Origami’ shapes, kitchen utensils and brightly coloured bowls and tea towels. The products will be launched on the retailer’s site next week (February 4).

Priced from £10, and designed in-house, Asos’ homewares are divided into three themes: Eclectic Luxe is a mix of retro-inspired statement pieces (from chintzy furnishings to recycled glasses), and Cool Minimal is about clean lines and brushstrokes on textiles. Meanwhile, the 70s inspired Global Traveller features eco-conscious hand-woven wicker baskets and rattan.

The retailer follows in the footsteps of other fashion brands such as Next, Monsoon, Zara and River Island by venturing into homewares.
