Bed Bath & Beyond ceo talks strategy

Mark J Tritton, president and ceo of major US kitchenware stockist Bed Bath & Beyond is a keynote speaker for Connect SPRING. The nine-day virtual event organised by the IHA (International Housewares Association) starts today.(March 16-26). Mark will divulge industry insights in a ‘fireside chat’ with Marshal Cohen, chief industry advisor, Retail, at The NPD Group next week, on Tuesday March 23 (5pm GMT).

Topics for the discussion include Bed Bath & Beyond’s agenda for strategic growth in 2021 and going forward, and will highlight how the leading home retailer has been driving change by cultivating a purpose-driven, customer-inspired brand.

With more than 30 years of experience in the retail industry, Mark has served as president and ceo of Bed Bath & Beyond since October 2019. Prior to this, he was executive vice president and chief merchandising officer at Target Corporation, where he was instrumental in transforming the omni-channel shopping experience. He also currently serves on the board of Nordstrom, Inc.
