Being named as an EIHA finalist is ‘tremendous news’ for suppliers

As momentum gathers for the industry’s ‘big night out’ – the Excellence in Housewares Awards 2024, suppliers have been reflecting on being named as finalists in the product categories.

Joe Stalder, country sales leader UK, Mepal, commented: “‘After winning the Homewares Award category last year, we are delighted to have been nominated again in two categories this year. The fact that our products are receiving the recognition from a judging panel of so many esteemed retail buyers, proves to us that our innovative products really do resonate with the UK market. We are looking forward to another great evening on 2 October, and will have everything crossed hoping for another win.”

John Grayson, commercial director, Le Creuset, added: “Tremendous news that Le Creuset has been nominated in the Excellence in Cookware category for our launch of Chambray and the Top of the Table category for our Halloween Collection at this year’s Excellence in Housewares Awards. We’re thrilled to be considered and will be eagerly awaiting the judges decision when we gather again for the awards night in London on October 2.”

Whitby & Co managing director, Phil Ellwood, said: “It was fantastic to find out that the Klean Kanteen Rise Food box range has been nominated as a finalist in the Excellence in Homewares category. It’s been a successful year for us and one of our key-brands Klean Kanteen, exhibiting for the first time at Exclusively Housewares to a really positive reception and now being a finalist in the awards. Hopefully we’ll be rounding off the year nicely with the award itself.”
