BHETA welcomes Tesco for new webinar

Tesco’s senior packaging manager, Paul Earnshaw, will present the details of the retailer’s plastic packaging ambitions and targets.

In the latest in a series of events focussing on the changing legislation on packaging tax, EPR and carbon footprint, BHETA is welcoming Paul back to lead the webinar on Wednesday 3 May, 2023, at 10.30.

In particular, the event will keep BHETA members informed on Tesco’s progress regarding its updated red/amber/green packaging approach, which Paul first set our to BHETA in a webinar in May last year.

Following the presentation, there will be a Q&A session.

BHETA’s marketing director, Steve Richardson, commented: “Sustainability is a critical topic from every point of view and packaging solutions are a big part of the solution, and of the debate. Tesco is a pioneer in this area, so it will be very useful for all supplier companies to see how its strategy is evolving – not least as a benchmark for others.

“BHETA is keen to help members get packaging right for the future, and insight from Tesco is an excellent way to ensure they are ahead of the game.”
