BHETA’s Lakeland webinar proves popular with members

The webinar began with Philippa Simons, head of buying, who gave a 2022 trading update, as well as the success of its Spend Smart: Live Well strategy, and how the company had dealt with the combined pressures of cost, supply and compliance over the last 12 months.

Members of the Lakeland buying team, Carly Bullock, Kathryn Farrell and Rebecca Murphy then covered off changing consumer shopping habits, the MyLakeland loyalty scheme, innovation and digital strategy.

Seema Grantham, BHETA’s sector manager for housewares and SDA, commented: “This was a superb chance to meet the team and understand what it working well for Lakeland at the moment. I’m delighted that BHETA is able to present its membership with such excellent opportunities.”
