BHETA’s POS insights for suppliers

Phil Pond, director of trends forecaster Scarlet Opus is presenting a webinar on how to engage consumers with the best point of sale (POS) and merchandising. The webinar – next Wednesday (January 12) – is hosted by BHETA (The British Home Enhancement Trade Association) for its members, including housewares suppliers.

4- bheta-detailThe 30-minute webinar will cover opportunities and trends that are influencing sought-after shopping experiences, and how to make use of these when presenting products in-store, online or in print.

Phil will talk about styles of POS and merchandising that will make the consumer’s purchasing-decision easier as well as create brand champions. He will examine how housewares suppliers can support retailers and forge partnerships that are genuinely mutually beneficial.

The insightful webinar will also explore why ‘merchandising’ product (as opposed to ‘displaying’ product) will create higher sales at higher margins.

Following the presentation delegates will have the opportunity to ask Phil any trend questions (including those related to consumer behaviour, design, or the housewares sector).

Expecting a large audience for the practical session, Will Jones, BHETA’s chief operating officer said: “This will be a really good opportunity for BHETA members to explore the best ways to acknowledge and utilise current trends in their point of sale and retail support materials.”
