Emma Bridgewater has teamed up with “trusted” brand Russell Hobbs (established in 1952, and inventors of the world’s first automatic switch-off kettle). The partnership sees the launch of two ranges in the hugely popular Polka Dot and Toast & Marmalade patterns. The striking designs will feature on two flagship heritage Russell Hobbs designs including; two slice and four slice toasters, and 1.7L and 1.5L kettles.
Russell Hobbs’ marketing manager, Dominic Lewis, commented: “We know that many consumers want kettles and toasters that either add to, or complement their current kitchen style rather than having to hide their appliances away between uses. This partnership offers us a chance to give people a truly unique product, an incredible design-led appliance that still has all of the trusted technology and features that our customers have come to expect of Russell Hobbs.”
Emma Bridgewater, founder of the eponymous pottery company said, “We are thrilled to partner with Russell Hobbs, a company known for its quality and sturdiness, whose appliances are well-loved and hold an essential place in British kitchens. In making a lifetime’s worth of pots of tea, I’ve boiled water in an array of kettles, and it’s probably fair to say that the kettle I turn to most often is a trusted one made by Russell Hobbs.”
She added: “It has been immensely rewarding to translate our classic pottery pattern designs onto kettles and toasters with Polka Dot and Toast & Marmalade.”
