Brits find kitchens most difficult to clean and organise

New research by Joseph Joseph has revealed that 72% of Brits struggle to clean or organise rooms in their home.

The survey, in partnership with Opinium, which included 2,000 participants, showed that almost a quarter (23%) consider the kitchen the most difficult room when it comes to cleaning and organising.

Expecting visitors was highlighted as a key motivation for cleaning and organising, with 43% claiming it as the primary reason for tidying up.

30% of respondents said they struggle to find adequate storage for everyday kitchen essentials, with limited cupboard and counter space being a primary concern.

Lack of storage was a common concern with 69% saying they struggle to find space, and bedrooms and kitchens ranked highest at 34% and 30% respectively.

Richard and Anthony Joseph, founders of Joseph Joseph, commented: “Organising the kitchen is one of the toughest challenges in any home – it’s a space where function, accessibility and style need to come together seamlessly.

“That’s why we focus on creating space-saving cookware and clever kitchen solutions that maximise every inch of your space, helping to bring calm to the chaos and make everyday tasks more enjoyable.”

Joseph Joseph offers a range of products designed to maximise storage and save space including the new Space cookware, CupboardStore, DrawerStore and Sink Technology, such as the Wash&Drain bowl and expandable dish racks.
