Calm and joy from Rosenthal

New colours in Rosenthal’s Junto tableware collection reflect the trend for botanicals, as well as the global consumer trends for ‘Quiet Surrounding’ and ‘Joyfilled Ambience’ (to be illustrated in a special exhibit at Ambiente from February 8-12).

“Following the botanical trend, fine gemstone nuances in green and blue which will ensure elegance and lightness will be on the table in 2019 – for example in our new colours Junto, Opal Green and Aquamarine by Rosenthal,” explains Claudia Kasper, PR manager at Rosenthal.

According to Rosenthal, Opal Green ‘emanates calm, clarity and dimension’ (which fits the trend for consumers to create havens of peacefulness in their homes). Meanwhile, the new Junto Aquamarine is emotive of the sea, not only in colours but its ‘depth and shallows’. The fresh colour has the effect of turning a dining table ‘into a place of well-being and joie de vivre,’ says Rosenthal.

Alabaster, another new colour glaze available exclusively for five items in the collection, is a ‘blend of simplicity and timeless beauty.’

The Junto collection also boasts a unique appearance for each item, thanks to the special reactive glaze. It will be showcased on Rosenthal’s stand Hall 4.1 C50.

Meanwhile, Ambiente’s Tends presentation will be in Galleria 1 (Messe Frankfurt, February 8-12).
