Next month’s The Inspired Home Show (Chicago March 14-17 – previously known as The International Home + Housewares Show) features a multitude of opportunities for visitors to hone their business and marketing skills, as well as learn from experts and industry peers.

Embello – an agency representing home and lifestyle influencers – will be available for one-on-one discussions about to make the most of influencer marketing. Free consultations about Digital Marketing will be available from epower. Show visitors can discuss theirbrand’s online marketing programme and goals and get expert advice on how to improve their presence online.

Meanwhile, the in-store retail experience (interactive displays, augmented reality and experimental activities) will be explored in the Hall of Global Innovation in the Smart Retail Experience and b8ta stand.

New to the show’s line-up of keynote sessions is Market Watch: 
IHA’s look into marketplace dynamics and emerging trends that will drive the industry forward. IHA (The International Housewares Association) will reveal its new State of the Industry Report, featuring data and analyses on supplier, industry and consumer trends, and offering forward-looking insights for the global home and housewares
market over the next 12 to 24 months.

Show favourites Lee Eiseman of Pantone and Tom Mirabile, IHA’s consumer trends expert will make keynote presentations. On Monday Lee will reveal Pantone’s 2021 colour palettes in an engaging, highly visual session. On Tuesday, she will delve into the philosophy of color and how it affects retail and consumers’ purchasing habits.  Tom’s early morning presentation will explore the consumer and retail shifts that are reshaping the home and housewares industry.

In addition to the keynotes, the Show’s Innovation Theatre will feature over 20 presentations including international lifestyle trends, consumer purchasing habits and retail best practices. The Show’s Smart Talks stage will feature presentations by industry experts on technology and product developments in the Smart Home and the Internet of Things.

After the show closes, visitors can learn what is driving the US retail market by joining the Chicago Retail Tour and US Housewares Industry Overview 
(Wednesday March 18). The tour will visit retailers such as Best Buy, The Container Store, Crate & Barrel, Target, Walmart and Whole Foods.
