Countdown to Exclusively

“Numbers look great,” according to Exclusively organisers, as the countdown continues to next week’s live show at The Business Design Centre, Islington (August 24 to 25). Just one stand only remains available in the main show area, and registered visitor numbers are continuing to increase.  All 18 stands are booked in the Launchpad area, which showcases small or start-up businesses in the housewares, small electrical (SDA) and gift industries.

In what will be the first whole industry face to face gathering dedicated to the housewares, SDA and gift sectors for almost eighteen months, retailers from around the country are confirming attendance.  This includes big name home and department stores such as John Lewis, Fenwick, Robert Dyas, Next, Wilko and B&Q, as well as grocery chains like Iceland and Aldi, specialists such as Lakeland and ProCook, discounters like B&M, Home Bargains, TK Maxx, Studio and Trago Mills, garden centre groups like Bents and Blue Diamond and online giants such as Ocado and eBay.

Media invitation acceptances are also rising from consumer and trade titles as well as a wealth of influencers, eager to view the Exclusively Brand Showcase, the show feature curated just for journalists and influencers.

Commenting ahead of the show, marketing manager Steve Richardson states: “With numbers of exhibitors and visitors this high, I can honestly say that from a commercial point of view, it is as if the last eighteen months of pandemic lockdowns had not occurred.  With over 130 companies and 200 brand names exhibiting, as other features such as the Trend Tours and Talks with Scarlet Opus virtually sold out, the housewares, SDA and gift sectors are clearly rising to the occasion.”

Steve continues: “It goes without saying that the Exclusively Show team and the Business Design Centre (BDC) regards the health and safety of clients, staff and partners of paramount importance and we have agreed measures to ensure the safety of all those on site, in line with the latest UK government guidance.  With such safeguards in place, I am confident of a safe and very successful show with numbers and opportunities set to match any pre-pandemic event of its kind.”

Will Jones, chief operating officer at BHETA and chair of Exclusively, adds: “Exclusively has always been must-see event in the home enhancement industry. There is just one stand left available to book and I would encourage any supplier of housewares, small domestic electricals or gift – including consumables – to take up this amazing opportunity to network with so many key audiences all at one event.”

More information about the Exclusively Show can be found via the website www.exclusivelyshows.co.uk.

For details of how to book the one remaining stand, contact Seema Grantham, BHETA’s sector manager for housewares and small domestic appliances on 07946 078566.
