Countdown to Sustainability conference

Created by the publishers of Progressive Housewares and organisers of the Excellence in Housewares Awards, next week’s Sustainability in Licensing Conference (SILC) is welcoming housewares suppliers and retailers among its attendees and speakers. The event follows the hugely successful inaugural event in 2020 and takesplace virtually over two days from June 24-25.

“The sustainability agenda for the housewares sector has moved on dramatically since we hosted SILC 2020 and so this year’s agenda includes an incredible line-up of qualified experts who can offer the really vital knowledge that suppliers and retailers will absolutely need to know, now,” commented Rob Willis, director at Progressive Housewares magazine and co-organiser of SILC 2021.

While the conference was born utilising Max Publishing’s licensing audience, the content is applicable and relevant to all suppliers of products to retail, as well as all high street retailers, ecommerce and majors.

The SILC 21 agenda includes insights and developments from Asda, Buyers Eye, Character.com, Dayrize, The Eden Project, Ellen MacArthur Foundation, Hannah Mills, Hubbub, The Insights Family, LEGO, Pack IDS, Recoup, Retail Economics, Sail GP, Tesco, UKIE and ZURU.

In the SILC 2020 attendee survey 100% said that the event was ‘good value for money’, 87% said they acquired ‘tools implemented to business’, 100% said they would attend SILC 2021 and 94% confirmed they ’gathered valuable knowledge’.

Tickets to SILC are just £100 (+VAT) and are available from www.sustainabilityinlicensing.com, or from Clare Hollick of Createvents (event support) on clare@createvents.co.uk or by calling 0118 334 0085.

As well as access to the two-day conference, delegates will also be able to check out the content on-demand for 30 days afterwards.
