David Mason Designs (DMD) is celebrating 60 years in 2022, having been founded by David Cowan in 1962. Exhibiting at Spring Far (February 6-9 NEC Birmingham), the company is looking forward to sharing its achievements with stockists at the show.
DMD was originally focussed on giftware and the development of award-winning salt and pepper mills. The business has continued to be family owned and has expanded its product offering to include premium dining, kitchen, and tableware.
In recent years DMD created its quintessentially British brand The English Tableware Company. Its Bee Happy Design received the prestigious Top of the Table Award at The Excellence in Housewares Award 2019, while The English Tableware Company’s Pressed Flowers range was recently recognised as being ‘So on Trend’ at the Trend Hub at Exclusively.
DMD also works with designer Ashley Thomas to bring her quirky range of homeware products to market.
“We are delighted to be celebrating such a landmark occasion for DMD at this year’s Spring fair,” comments Rob Blackburn, DMD’s director of sales and sourcing. “ Seeing customers face to face and having the opportunity to catch up on new products and range plans are other greats reason to celebrate. We look forward to welcoming customers – existing, new and old – to our stand for a glass of bubbles and some fantastic show deals.”
