Denby celebrates handcrafting

Denby is running a series of features in June, aka Makers’ Month, to highlight the handcrafted nature of its ceramics, including tableware. The brand is celebrating the fascinating craft techniques of its handcrafted pottery, including diddling, jiggering, jollying and fettling clay.

The handcrafted campaign features stories about the people who make Denby’s unique pottery on the same site where the company was founded in 1809. For example, consumers will be able to view an online demonstration by Denby’s resident hand thrower Sean Flint, who will be making a unique piece of pottery.

Recognising that recent events have prompted a surge in crafting at home, Denby is celebrating stories and tips from a community of makers. The brand is also unveiling new home décor products including hand-thrown Prestige Home Décor Vases.

Its new assets available for retailers include a new short film, imagery for websites and insights into the techniques used in the creation of its ceramics.
