Dexam appoints new member to board of directors

Tom Roberts has been promoted to operations director as he joins Dexam’s board of directors.

Tom commented: “I’m delighted to have been invited to join the board as operations director. It’s been a goal of mine for some time and l’m excited to be given the opportunity to make the step up.”

February marks Tom’s 10th anniversary at Dexam. He said: “I began as the customer service manager and had to get to grips with the housewares industry very quickly, as my background was in financial services.”

Having been promoted to operations manager in 2021, Tom took over the warehouse function, along with the majority of the HR.

He added: “Last year I expanded my responsibilities further by taking on the purchasing role, which has given me an even greater understanding of the product journey from the factories to our warehouse in Midhurst, and then on to the customer’s shelves.

“I’m really looking forward to this next chapter and I would like to thank the current board members for the opportunity.”
