Dexam cooks up a storm with John Lewis

Dexam and the School of Wok hosted an Asian cooking experience for the John Lewis buying team at the award-winning school in Covent Garden last month.

Each member of the Dexam and School of Wok team – Nev, Howard, Bryony and Joe – hosted a group who worked their way through food prep and cooking under the excellent tutorage of Che. There was much hilarity but also some great skills learned and honed – especially cleaver usage.

The evening’s menu included Jiaozi (dumplings), Morning Glory and Sichuan chicken. The meal was prepared using the School of Wok by Dexam pre-seasoned woks, utensils, cleavers, steamers and bowls.

Bryony Dyer, Dexam’s md, commented: “The food was exceptional and it was lovely to sit down with newfound JLP friends and share food and drink. Huge thanks to Nev Leaning of the School of Wok for putting the event together.”

The School of Wok range has been listed by John Lewis and will be available for the AW23 season. The range will be on show at Exclusively in the brand showcase and on Dexam’s stand – EH446.
