Dexam further expands School of Wok offering

Continuing its partnership with Covent Garden’s School of Wok, Dexam has launched a Pestle and Mortar into the collection.

The tool is deigned to empower home cooks and culinary students alike to explore the rich flavours and inspiring techniques of Asian cuisine.

The new Pestle and Mortar combines traditional craftsmanship with modern functionality. Designed to maximise surface contact to improve the grinding and pounding performance of herbs and spices.

Hard-wearing granite and ridged insides are included for optimal grinding of dry and wet mixes, making the tool ideal for curry pastes, whole spices, dry rubs and sauces.

With a long, easy grip bamboo handle, the pestle rests easily inside the cutouts on the mortar. The Pestle and Mortar comes with a two-year guarantee.
