Dexam introduces new Swedish Dishcloths and Scion tea towels

Dexam is adding some colour and fun to washing and drying up with its new Swedish Dishcloth packs and Scion by Dexam tea towel sets.

The new Swedish Dishcloths come in a set of three plain colours: pastel pink, yellow and blue or teal, cerise and green. They are a sustainable, reusable and compostable cleaning solution for the home.

Just one cloth can be used over and over again, equal to using 40 rolls of paper towel. Each adds a splash of colour to the kitchen and joins the existing range of eight fun single designs which include animal prints, trendy words, botanicals and fruit.

The cloths are made from 70% all-natural wood pulp cellulose from sustainably managed forests and 30% cotton from waste cotton. This combination allows them to be rigid when dry and pliable when wet.

They are more durable and absorbent than regular paper towels and can be placed in the dishwasher or washing machine to keep them fresh and smelling sweet. They are also 100% compostable so after their long and useful life, simply pop them in your compost heap.

Joining them are three new tea towel sets in the Scion by Dexam brand. Each set comprises three tea towels in contemporary patterns and colours. One of the sets features the cheeky and cheerful Mr Fox, while two new Scion characters appear on the other two: a Swim, Swam, Swan and the confident and proud Lionel.

Each tea towel is made from 100% quality cotton and measures 70 x 50cm. They also have handy corner loops to hang up and dry/store when not in use.

Helen Boardman, Dexam’s product manager, commented: “Our eco-friendly washable Swedish Dishcloths have been selling really well. They are perfect for doing the dishes, wiping up spills or cleaning whilst brightening up your day.

“These new sets of three plain cloths have been launched in response to retailer feedback and the tones complement our existing designs. We’re really excited to also be launching three new tea towel sets in partnership with Scion Living. We hope the new characters and contemporary patterns will resonate with retailers and consumers.”
