Eco brands from Auteur

Exhibiting at next month’s Exclusively (June 14-15, Islington Business Design Centre), Auteur is introducing two more sustainable brands to its portfolio.

The eKu (essential Kitchen utensils) range of kitchen tools is made from 100% upcycled plastic waste, using plastic waste from companies such as Starbucks, KFC and Coca Cola that might otherwise end up in landfill. The waste is crushed, cleaned, high heat treated and “born again.”

Jenny Dahlman, Auteur’s sales and marketing director reports: “The brand has been created by Australian husband and wife team, Jeremy and Kylie Sargeant who have many years’ experience working in the housewares industry.  Their vision was to create the only kitchen utensils brand made fully from sustainable materials and to be the number one sustainable kitchenware brand globally in the future.”

Meanwhile the new ECO BBQ from Auteur is a reusable alternative to portable disposable barbecues, meaning less waste and less risk of starting fires on the grass. A good size when cooking for four people, the ECO BBQ is lightweight with a raised design and heat resistant pad.
