Eddingtons introduces Paddington Bear

Eddingtons is launching a new licensed homewares and gifting range based on Paddington Bear –  the iconic character created by Michael Bond. The range is focused around three popular areas: Paddington  “on the move”, “at breakfast” and “baking accessories”.

Richard Walker, commercial director comments: “We are delighted to have secured this partnership which will bring the broad appeal of this established heritage icon to homewares and gifting.”

He continues: “Practical homeware solutions have been developed into stylish and desirable products designed to delight our core customer but in turn appeal to fans and followers of the traditional Paddington Bear character widely featured in books, film and soon to be re-launched TV shows.”

The new range is created around the original Peggy Fortnum illustrations, which have been applied to some of Eddingtons’ bestselling lines. There are also new and exclusive additions, with newly developed baking sets and kitchen textiles.

Richard reveals: “We have also developed exclusive prints further enhancing our sustainable travel and snack storage solutions from our partner brands, Bees Wrap and Full Circle.”

The Paddington Bear range will be previewed at the Spring Fair Hall (NEC Birmingham, February 2-6, Hall 8, Stand E44-F45) and in stock from March 2020.
