Eurosonic Group moves to new Trafford HQ

50 staff will move to the new premises due to unprecedented growth, as ESG is on track for £50m turnover in 2023.

Retail supplier of homeware and electrical appliances, Eurosonic Group (ESG) has moved to a new head office and purpose built showroom in Trafford Park.

Due to continuous and significant growth, the company has made the move to Brightgate House on Brightgate Way, to accommodate 50 staff, as well as house a new showroom which showcases ESG’s brand name ranges including Daewoo Electricals, The Hairy Bikers Kitchenware, ProChef and Carnaby.

The company has also recently increased its brand portfolio in recent months with key licensed ranges including Jane’s Patisserie.

ESG has a 50 year heritage, trading as a family business from Manchester since the 70s, following a move from Salford. the new HQ will help further the company’s planned expansion.

John Knight, md at ESG, said: “The company has grown significantly over the past ten years with our turnover increasing to over £50 million per year and we had outgrown our head office in the centre of Manchester. This new location is ideally situated for us to welcome retailers from across the UK and Europe and we have invested heavily in a purpose built showroom that will enable us to show new products throughout the year.

“It’s a really exciting time for us as the move has coincided with new licensed ranges and our team has been working on some unique new product developments in the electrical and housewares which will be announced in the coming weeks.”
